Don’t Pout Cream Stout

An American Sweet Stout that lacks the harshness of my last stout and many others. Dark and roasty (a little) and creamy.

Appearance: dark reddish brown with thin off-white head.

Aroma: sweet and somewhat roasty.

Taste: sweet, hints of cocoa and coffee.

Mouthfeel: creamy (especially when it warms a little).

Overall Impression: When cold, I’m tempted to say this needs more roast barley. However, when it warms a little, I think it’s just right.
